Service Agreement
Effective Date: May 25, 2026
1. ACCESS TO WATER & ELECTRICITY
All mobile detailing services require access to water and electricity at the service location. If you are unable to provide either, please contact us prior to your appointment so we can find a solution. Failure to provide access at the time of the appointment will result in an $80 cancellation fee.
2. CANCELLATION POLICY
- 48+ hours notice: No fee
- 24 to 48 hours notice: $40 fee
- Less than 24 hours notice: $80 fee
- No call / No show: Full service amount charged up to $150
- Client not present or vehicle inaccessible upon arrival: Full service amount charged up to $150
Detailed By Dylan reserves the right to cancel or reschedule due to staffing, weather, traffic, or equipment issues.
3. LATE ARRIVAL
Detailed By Dylan reserves the right to arrive up to 90 minutes past the scheduled appointment time. Traffic and scheduling can impact arrival times. We will make every reasonable effort to notify you of any delays and ask for your patience.
4. VEHICLE ACCESS & SERVICE QUALITY
By booking our services you agree to provide Detailed By Dylan with access to your vehicle to perform the requested services. We aim to deliver high quality results on every appointment. Any concerns regarding the completed service must be communicated within 24 hours of completion. Detailed By Dylan is not liable for concerns raised after this window or if the client does not participate in the final inspection.
5. PRE-EXISTING CONDITIONS & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Detailed By Dylan will document any pre-existing damage prior to service but is not liable for pre-existing conditions. If damage occurs under our care you will be notified promptly. Our maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the service in question. Detailed By Dylan is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
6. FEES, PAYMENT & SERVICE TERMS
The fee for our services is the total amount displayed at the time of booking. If the scope of work exceeds the original estimate by more than 20% we will confirm any additional charges with you before proceeding. Payment is due upon completion of service. Accepted payment methods include cash, debit, and credit card. Late payments will incur a 10% fee.
7. SAFETY
You must disclose any harmful substances present in the vehicle prior to service. The client is responsible for any health or safety issues arising from undisclosed conditions in or around the vehicle.
8. MARKETING & PHOTOS
By booking our services you agree that Detailed By Dylan may use photos of your vehicle for marketing and promotional purposes unless you object in writing prior to your appointment.
9. FINAL INSPECTION
We strongly encourage all clients to be present for the final quality control inspection at the end of the service. If the client is not present for the final inspection a mandatory gratuity of 10% of the total service cost will be added to the invoice.
10. CLIENT ACKNOWLEDGMENT
By booking and using Detailed By Dylan services you certify that:
- You are 18 years of age or older
- You are authorized to enter into this agreement on behalf of the vehicle's legal owner
- You understand that Detailed By Dylan does not guarantee any specific outcome or result
- Payment is for dedicated service time on your vehicle, not tied to any specific result
- All sales are final
- If a job takes more than 20% longer than anticipated, an additional fee of $50 per every 30 minutes may be applied at our discretion. We will notify you before applying any additional charges.
11. GOVERNING LAW
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising under this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in San Joaquin County, California.
12. CHANGES TO THIS AGREEMENT
Detailed By Dylan reserves the right to modify this agreement at any time. Changes will be posted on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.
